What is PayPal?

Create PayPal Account

• The service allows individuals and companies to open an account maintained by PayPal (an "Account")
• To qualify for an account, the user must:
  • Either be a private person (minimum 18 years) or a company that is able to enter into a legally binding contract, and
  • Completing our registration process to the satisfaction
• As part of our registration process, the user must:
  • Create an email address, which will also serve as "username" and
  • Accept our privacy policy and terms and conditions of the User Agreement, including the policy documents are incorporated into this ("User Agreement")
• Each user must create a password, along with your username (email address) lets you access your account and can use the service

Types of accounts

Fund an account

• To fund an account, the user must either:

Make payments

• To make a payment to a third party through the service, providing the user usually the email address of the intended recipient ("Recipient"). This instructs the user to send payment ("sender") us to transfer electronic money from your PayPal account to the recipient's bank account. If payment is refused by the consignee, we will complete the transfer
• Every new account has an initial limit on the amount that a user can send. To increase the "transmission line", the user must verify the information provided to us in connection with your account. Some accounts may, at our discretion, have a lower limit before authentication is required. In addition, certain transactions, at our discretion, not be applicable to a revised increase of transmission line. What type of information required for this verification process varies depending on the jurisdiction in which the user lives, and the type of account he or she has 
• A user can send a payment in multiple currencies, including British Pounds, Euros, Canadian dollars, U.S. dollars, Japanese yen, Australian dollar, Swiss franc, Norwegian krone, Swedish krona, Danish krone, Polish zloty, Hungarian Forint, Czech Koruna, Singapore dollars, Hong Kong dollars, New Zealand dollars, Israeli Shekel, Mexican peso, Argentine peso, Brazilian real, Philippine peso, Thai baht and Taiwanese new dollars.

Receiving payments

• A user can receive a payment through the Service by accepting a payment from another user
• The recipient can return payments or, in some cases, use the Service to deny payments that have been sent by another user

Risk of reimbursement or revocation of a payment

• If a sender does not follow the policy for säljarskydd (see below), and a payment from the sender is attached to a transaction that is subject to a refund or revoked for any reason, the recipient, and not us, is responsible for the amount received with any charges imposed on us as a result of the repayment or withdrawal

No liability for unauthorized use of an account

• While we do not generally responsible for a user's access to and use of this service, we will not keep our users responsible if a third person use their account in an unauthorized manner, provided we are convinced that the user has not acted deliberately to allow a third party access to the username and / or password

Transfer of money to the bank account (redemption of electronic money)

• A user with an account that has a credit balance may at any time ask us to withdraw money from his account. This allows a user to fully or partially redeem the electronic money balance are at their registered bank account, or if applicable, his credit card.
