What is PayPal?
  • PayPal enables individuals and businesses to send and receive electronic money online. PayPal also provides other financial and non-financial services closely related to online payments. These services are referred to hereinafter as "service" as a common concept.
  • You can use the service to make single or "one-off" payments, or you can open an account with us, which makes it possible for you to make regular payments
  • PayPal does not provide credit and / or despositionstjänster
Who provides the service?

  • We do not charge any fee to send a single payment via the service (although a fee may be charged if the transaction involves currency conversion or taken out by another person, such as through your credit card company).

  • Payment is made as soon as the payment methods like PayPal have access to permits (which may be the following business day) after you have given us your payment order. If the person you are sending your payment to let us know that they want to make the payment at a later date, we will execute your payment order when they ask us to do it.
Create PayPal Account
  • The service allows individuals and companies to open an account maintained by PayPal (an "Account")
  • To qualify for an account, the user must:
    • Either be a private person (minimum 18 years) or a company that is able to enter into a legally binding contract, and
    • Completing our registration process to the satisfaction
  • As part of our registration process, the user must:
    • Create an email address, which will also serve as "username" and
    • Accept our privacy policy and terms and conditions of the User Agreement, including the policy documents are incorporated into this ("User Agreement")
  • Each user must create a password, along with your username (email address) lets you access your account and can use the service

Types of accounts
  • The service offers three account types:
    • Private Account

Fund an account
  • To fund an account, the user must either:

Make payments
  • To make a payment to a third party through the service, providing the user usually the email address of the intended recipient ("Recipient"). This instructs the user to send payment ("sender") us to transfer electronic money from your PayPal account to the recipient's bank account. If payment is refused by the consignee, we will complete the transfer

Receiving payments
  • A user can receive a payment through the Service by accepting a payment from another user
  • The recipient can return payments or, in some cases, use the Service to deny payments that have been sent by another user
Risk of reimbursement or revocation of a payment
  • If a sender does not follow the policy for säljarskydd (see below), and a payment from the sender is attached to a transaction that is subject to a refund or revoked for any reason, the recipient, and not us, is responsible for the amount received with any charges imposed on us as a result of the repayment or withdrawal

Transfer of money to the bank account (redemption of electronic money)
